The Festival of Lights event is all set to begin on Pokémon Go from the 5th of November. The event features a lot of Pokémon, along with Dedenne making its appearance for the first time, marking its debut in the game!
Festival of Lights begins from 10 AM and lasts till 8 PM on the 5th of November at local times. The event will start off with a special firework display that marks its beginning, celebrating and signifying Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights.

A special celebration will be available for players in India from 4-7 PM local time on November 7. At this time, players will be able to collect 2x Catch Candy and will encounter Blitzle and Dedene more often in the wild. In addition, the shop will feature Festival of Lights T-shirts inspired by Diwali, which can light up the appearance of players’ Avatars. Dedenne-inspired items such as stickers will also be available.
This also marks the time for “light to overcome the dark”, and will feature more Electric- and Fairy-type Pokémon, which will appear more often in the wild.

- Plyers can open 45 Gifts in a day
