Pokemon Go: 7 New Galar Pokemon Coming Soon

The Pokémon Go Fest 2021 has reached the final part of the Ultra Unlock event- Part 3: Sword and Shied. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, has already been teasing fans with illustrations that point toward the debut of many new creatures in the game during the celebrations of the 5th anniversary of Pokémon Go. The most exciting part has to be the surprising announcement Niantic has made; stating that Pokémon from a different region, Galar, will be in the game!

  • Galar was introduced as a region in the 8th generation in the main series and Pokémon Sword and Shield. It is the last region to enter the universe of Pokémon Go.
  • The new addition is going to feature Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield creatures in the Ultra Unlock Part 3. It will also include lots of new Pokémon and even a few power legendaries! Many of the Pokémon that appeared in Galar first will be available in the game soon; in addition to the others.
  • Some of the Pokémon expected to appear are Skwovet, Wooloo, Falinks, Greedent, Falinks, and the rarer ones are the shiny Galarian forms of Weezing, Stunfisk, Farfetch’d and Meowth. Skwovet and Wooloo are to appear frequently in the wild.

  • Galar region uniforms are also going to be available at the in-game store from the 19th of August, while stickers can be obtained by spinning Photo Disks in Gyms or PokéStops.
  • The Galarian versions of Ponyta, Farfetch’d, Darumaka, Stunfisk, Zigzagoon, Slowpoke, and Meowth will be hatching from the 7km Eggs as well.
  • There will also be event-exclusive research tasks that will offer rewards of guaranteed Galar Pokémon encounters.
  • In addition to these new Pokémon from Galar, Niantic has also announced that Zacian and Zamazenta, the legendary flagship Pokémon from Sword and Shield, will also be making an appearance in their Crowned Forms.
