Sony PlayStation is one of the biggest names in the console gaming market as well as the game development market. Unfortunately, their new service PlayStation Now isn’t performing all that well. Recently there were also talks about creating a service or enhancing the PS Now service as a reply to Xbox Game Pass. Anyways, in their efforts to boost PlayStation Now, Sony will be adding a classic game series to its roster.
Final Fantasy Coming to PlayStation Now
It was officially announced on the PlayStation Blog that we’ll see a new Final Fantasy game series come to PlayStation Now. The games would be released monthly starting on September 7, 2021, with Final Fantasy VII. The full schedule is as follows:

“Starting next week, we’ll be adding a chapter of this beloved RPG series to PlayStation Now each month, beginning with Final Fantasy VII (the original game!) on September 7”, stated the PlayStation Blog.
So continuously for 5 months, we’ll see a new Final Fantasy game arriving on PlayStation Now. They can be downloaded or streamed to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 or streamed to PC. PlayStation Now subscription service is available for $10/month or $25 for three months, or $60 per year.
PS5 PlayStation Showcase

Sony has also announced a PlayStation Showcase event for September 9. The event will reveal exciting new updates about the most anticipated upcoming games. The event will be around 40 minutes in length and will begin at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET.
It will provide us with some updates about the future of the PS5 console as well as games releasing this holiday. We might also receive some news about the games which are supposed to release next year or are in development. Our eyes would be on some updates about God of War 2 and Horizon Forbidden West. Both of these Sony originals are highly anticipated and have been delayed numerous times now.
