This fanmade Poppy Playtime brings a twist to capture the flag
Before we get into it, just a heads up that this game is meant to be enjoyed by many players at the same time. So if you’re looking for a single-player Poppy Playtime game, we’re sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this isn’t it. Trust me, I tried playing this alone but I wasn’t going anywhere in the game.
Kissy Missy welcomes you to the game
As soon as you boot up in the game, you come face to face with a familiar face: Kissy Missy. Although she doesn’t really do anything other than stare at you with those soulless eyes, it gave me quite the scare when I first loaded into the game.
Since I was all alone in the lobby, I took my sweet time exploring the place where we spawn into. When you go off to the side, you pick up this item that unlocks the room where you can get a weapon that blasts out a laser.
- Be careful, though, as you can only use this weapon 5 times.
- After using up all the ammo, you need to either make your way back to the start to pick it up again or you need to unlock areas where the blaster can be found.
Your character is called the ‘Tourist’
The default name given to players who play this fanmade game is ‘Tourist’. You’ll immediately see that as soon as you log onto the game. As we said, it’s really meant to be played by a lot of people at once. If you want to make the most out of this experience, you should invite your friends along.

According to what appears when we start this game, you need to capture the flag. As I said, you can only make progress on the game by playing with friends. I mean, you can always do it on your own but you really have to be patient.
Even if you can reuse the keys which look like they’re being held by Kissy Missy’s statue, it takes a while for it to respawn. You’ll also need to use the blaster a few times in the game. Besides, what’s the point of capturing the flag if you’re the only player, right? Round up your friends and try this game out if you want something new!
This is a good game to pass the time while waiting for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3
MOB Games didn’t really give us a definite release date for the third chapter of Poppy Playtime. What we know so far is that there is definitely something shady taking place in the toy factory. So far, we’ve had to deal with Huggy Wuggy and Mommy Long Legs, but it looks like the nightmare is far from over in Poppy Playtime.
Will we finally face off against The Prototype in Chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime? I guess we’ll just have to wait until next year for MOB Games to give us the next installment in the series.
