Pepsi Cola reveals first-ever condiment – Ketchup | Where to Buy

Pepsi Cola introduce new cola-infused ketchup product

Hotdogs, Soda, and Baseball. Three of the best recipes combined to create the perfect American daydream. Almost everyone is fond of eating hotdogs with ketchup while chugging a huge cup of Pepsi cola. It’s true! Watching the NBA Finals, the Super Bowl, or baseball games won’t be complete without this sumptuous duo. But, would you believe that Pepsi made something that isn’t just revolutionary, it’s also a surprising twist to mix both of our favorites in one. As part of its #BetterWithPepsi campaign, the soda manufacturing giant created a Pepsi-infused ketchup. If you’re wondering where you can get one, then we just have the information for you!

Pepsi Colachup, the new Pepsi-flavored ketchup will be out on the Fourth of July in select baseball stadiums

Pepsi once again teams up with the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to make the all-new Pepsi Colachup. As informed, this product will come out alongside the celebration of the Fourth of July (Independence Day). Moreover, it will be available for sampling and trial only on the said date in selected MLB games.

“The concept is both simple and creative. The distinctive flavors and vibrant citrus blend of Pepsi enhances the bright and tangy characteristics of ketchup, offsetting the smokiness of the hot dog,” David Kamen, director of client experience for CIA Consulting, said in a release announcing the Colachup. “It’s a whole new way to enjoy two American classics!”

Here is where and how you can buy one of the Pepsi Colachup

As of now, Pepsi hasn’t made it clear if they’re going to stick with the project for the long term as it is still in the sampling stage. But, if you’re looking to get a crack at Pepsi’s cola-flavored condiment, The Pepsi Colachup will be available on July 4, 2023. Just look for the special Pepsi Colachup sampling carts in the following stadiums and the respective ballgames on that day:

  • Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona (Section 130/131) – Arizona Diamondbacks vs New York Mets
  • Yankee Stadium, Bronx, New York (Pepsi Lounge) – New York Yankees vs Baltimore Orioles
  • Target Field, Minneapolis, Minnesota (Section 113) – Minnesota Twins vs Kansas City Royals
  • Comerica Park, Detroit, Michigan (Section 139) – Detroit Tigers vs Oakland Athletics

This isn’t actually the first time Pepsi created something bizarre

Last year, in May 2022, Pepsi partnered with the Culinary Institute of America to create a pizza topping with a twist. The world-famous Pepperoni is now made with the taste of Pepsi Cola, making Pepsi-Roni Pizza.

“The concept is quite simple. Pepperoni brings a smokey spiciness and the Pepsi adds a citrusy sweetness,” David Kamen, director of client experience for CIA Consulting, stated in the announcement. “It’s an intriguing combination we think pizza fans will be excited to try.”

And, lest we forget, the favorite Peeps-flavored Pepsi cola which returned earlier this year after being shelved for two years. Back in 2021, Peeps and Pepsi agreed to an exclusive collaboration that would mix Peeps marshmallows and Pepsi soda. The Pepsi x Peeps project was such a critical hit and was received very well by consumers, thus the decision to bring it back in 2023.
