In Palworld, unlocking the full potential of your Pals through breeding is a game-changer. This guide will walk you through the steps to breed and strengthen your Pals, making it easier to conquer higher-level challenges and breeze through the game. Let’s dive into the breeding process.
Unlock the Breeding Farm (Technology Tab)
Before breeding, make sure your character reaches level 19 to unlock the ‘Breeding Farm.’ Here are the requirements:
- 100 Wood
- 20 Stone
- 50 Fiber
Once achieved, you can pair male and female Pals for breeding.
Bake a Cake
Crafting a cake is a vital step in Pal breeding. For two Pals to breed, you need to put 1x Cake on the Breeding Farm Box. For this, you’ll require a Ranch (unlocks at level 5) and the following ingredients:
- 5 Flour
- 8 Red Berries
- 7 Milk
- 8 Eggs
- 2 Honey
Tip: Use the Arsox Pal or any Pal with Kindling ability to speed up cake crafting time.
Note: Cakes spoil within 20 minutes. To avoid spoiling, use a cooler box. You may refresh its expiration by putting it inside the cooler box and retrieving it right away. You can also, leave it inside the Breeding Farm box to avoid expiration. Just make sure that you are not breeding at the moment or else the Pals will continuously consume the Cakes and will continue to produce eggs.

Resource Gathering
If you haven’t already, build a Ranch and assign Beegarde (produces honey), Mozzarina (produces milk), and Chikipi (produces eggs) to efficiently gather the required resources. Deploying more of these Pals speeds up resource collection. Alternatively, defeat these Pals in the wild for eggs, milk, and honey.
Pal Locations
- Mozzarina: Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster (Lvl 10-11), the western part of the map from the starting location. Also found near the Ravine Entrance.
- Beegarde: Northeast area of the map. Can also be bought from Black Marketeers (tame these NPCs and buy from them).
How to Farm Honey
Head to Mossanda Forest (northeast from the starting point) and defeat Beegardes and Elizabees to collect honey. The trick is to hit and run away from Beegardes, as they self-destruct, ensuring they drop honey.
Build a Cooking Pot (unlocks at level 17)

Craft the Egg Incubator (Technology Tab)
To hatch the egg, craft the Egg Incubator. Here are the requirements:

How to Breed a Powerful Pal
To breed a powerful Pal, you need a male and a female Pal with different Passives that you desire. Let them breed until you achieve both desired passives in one of their offspring. You can also breed the offspring with its parents depending on which passive you wish to retain. Rinse and repeat.
How to Fuse Powerful Pals
Fusing involves breeding a specific Pal with a certain Elemental Pal. Here are some confirmed Fused Pals:
- Relaxaurus Lux:
- Breed a Female Relaxaurus with a Male Sparkit.
- Vanwyrm Cryst:
- Fuse a Female Vanwyrm with a Male Foxcicle.
- Elphidran:
- Fuse a Female Vanwyrm with a Male Sweepa (found southwest of the starting point).
- Lunaris:
- Fuse a Female Direhowl with a Male Rooby.
