The Australian opener, David Warner has given a perfect reply to the frustrated Pakistan bowlers in the first Test match.
The historic series between Pakistan and Australia began on 4th March 2022 at Rawalpindi. The host won the toss and elected to bat first. They declared their innings at 476 for 4.
Teenager Naseem Shah Attempts To Sledge Warner
The Australian batsmen are also stubborn like Pakistani batsmen. Openers, David Warner and Usman Khawaja made a fabulous hundred-run partnership. The Pakistani bowlers were frustrated as the Kangaroos were not giving away any wickets. This led to sledging by the bowlers. The 35-year old player, David Warner, was the major victim of sledging.

Moreover, Warner had a few light moments with fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, the duo appreciated one another’s skills with the bat and ball respectively. However, things weren’t just limited to being light-hearted on the part of Naseem Shah. Firstly he bowled a short ball which struck the Australian batter, who misjudged the bounce.
Shah tried to intimidate the batter, who is near twice his age, by walking right down the pitch to Warner. Naseem had some advice for David Warner, however, his attempt to intimidate Warner failed badly.

Warner didn’t reply to Naseem Shah in a rude manner as he used to do earlier. But he laughed at it.
Moreover, in the next delivery, the ball dropped at the feet of Warner, who collected it and placed it back in the hand of Shah, who was still heated. Warner gave him another smile and a pat on the shoulder before resuming his work.
- The old Warner would have given a hard reply to the by involving in sledging. He has changed a lot after the ball-tampering ban. In his young career, he was an aggressive batsman who used involved in sledging.
- Unfortunately, Warner got out on 68 and Khawaja missed a well-deserved ton just by 3 runs. While Marnus Labuschagne was 69 not out when bad light and then rain ended play.
