A new Overwatch event rewards players with skins and other cosmetics they can then use in the upcoming Overwatch 2. Furthermore, the Overwatch Anniversary Remix: Volume 1 is the first installment of a three-part event taking place this year. Read on to find out more about this anniversary event from Overwatch.
Overwatch Anniversary Remix: Volume 1 is the first Remix event this 2022
In every Remix event, there will be new versions of previously released Legendary skins for characters in Overwatch. Volume 1 of Overwatch’s Anniversary event, runs from April 5 until April 26. The highlight of these events is to hype players up for the release of Overwatch 2, which is expected to go into beta testing on April 26.
But aside from players being able to claim Legendary skins through this event, some seasonal skins will also be part of the Anniversary event. Furthermore, there are weekly challenges included in the event wherein players are rewarded with different kinds of cosmetics they can carry over into Overwatch 2.

If you’re having second thoughts about taking part in the first weekly challenge, don’t worry. If you win a game, it’s automatically counted as two games. So, you’ll get the rewards faster if you make sure that you win each game you play.
