AAA 2023 Performances That Hyped The Fans and Tore The Stage
Filipino, Japanese, and Korean represents were more than ready to slay the AAA 2023 stage, and the audience was prepared to give their loudest cheers. From idol groups to soloists, the energy of the whole Philippine Arena in Bulacan did not die down until the very last stage of the award show.

As we have celebrated all the awards given during the Asia Artist Awards 2023, let’s now take a look at the best performances during the ceremony. It may have been a seven to eight-hour-long show, but they sure hyped the audience and the stars in attendance.
5) Kim Jae Joong
Of course, we couldn’t just set aside the K-pop legend Kim Jae Joong of JYJ. After the break, before starting the second part of AAA 2023, Jae Joong took the stage to perform his songs, One Kiss and Mine, to the delight of the fans and stars watching. It shows how being in the industry for 20 years earned him a large fanbase, great music, and unstoppable energy and talent. The AAA Top of K-pop Record award was meant for him!
The performance of One Kiss with his high note brought the viewers up on their feet, too. Kim Jae Joong sure knows how to get the crowd going, as he continued to rock the stage with Mine. His stage performance was surprising, and being in the industry for quite a long time, Jae Joong showed how his stage presence was unmatched.
4) ITZY
They would have taken the third place, but we sure did miss Lia performing. It was the sole reason we put them here; we hope Lia recovers well and the members get the rest they deserve after back-to-back performances for AAA 2023 and the KBS Global Festival.
ITZY was the last girl group to perform at the AAA 2023, and they did not disappoint. As usual, their charisma and strong stage presence won the crowd’s cheers. ITZY’s on a different level that night!

The four members executed their stage of Kill Shot and CAKE. The different themes of their tracks had everyone on a rollercoaster of emotions, as we loved how they slayed the transition from a killer to a sweet stage for the songs. Ryujin caught the audience with her Kill Shot performance, but their music, CAKE, had the arena screaming and singing ‘Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake, it’s a piece of Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake!’
3) NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM
We couldn’t think who did their performance better, so we had them tied to the third rank. The transition for NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM’s performance was simply perfection, too. Honestly, we thought that the two HYBE groups would be collaborating for a stage, but both of their sets were just as surprising if they ever shared the stage!
NewJeans won various awards since the early part of the award show, and their stage really proved they deserved all of it. Their Intro Perf, with each member having a dance break, followed by an OMG, ETA, and Super Shy performance, were enough to form a choir among the crowds, singing to every chorus of their tracks. Monster rookies? They sure are!

LE SSERAFIM perfectly maintained the high energy with their performance of Perfect Night, followed by the fan-favorite Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard’s Wife. When each of the girls got focused on the screen, especially Yunjin, the crowd did not fail to roar and shout because of their visuals. If you haven’t watched their stage, you completely missed out on a wild crowd and a fantastic performance of the six-member girl group.

2) Stray Kids
They did not receive the AAA Best Stage Of The Year for nothing! Stray Kids did not come to the award show to perform a song, not two, not three, but four tracks of them. MANIAC, GET LIT, TOPLINE, and LALALALA got stages, which fans and stars partied with throughout their 12-minute and 30-second performances.

Each Stray Kids member showcased their talent and skill at the AAA 2023, may it be in singing, dancing, or rapping, and we were left in awe. Even if you are unfamiliar with their song, you can’t help but vibe with how Stray Kids performed.
The members danced among the stars, hyping them further, which earned more cheers from the crowd. Lee Know, whose right arm was hurting, removed the support and danced harder during their performance. We hope he’s recovering better now, and no more injuries for the rest of the group, please!
1) BSS
Finally, we have come to the last sport, and we are pretty confident that BooSeokSoon is everyone’s choice for the night’s best performance. Many fans came for them, and after over seven hours of the ceremony, the trio managed to get everyone on their feet, vibing and partying to their tracks. They surprised everyone with a skit at the start of their performance for 7PM, with the special participation of actors Kim Se Jeong, Lee Dong Hwi, and Kentaro Sakaguchi.

After a playful exchange, Boo Seung Kwan, Lee Seok Min, and Kwon Soon Young did not waste any second to give the fans their best performance of Fighting, and even Lee Young Ji was there to perform the track’s rap. With a lot of newly added flavor to their stage, we laughed, shocked, and amazed at how great these artists were. BSS capped off their set with their Just Do It song, which, by then, the audience was roaring for the trio. They indeed deserve the Daesang Performance Of The Year!
We want to watch these artists perform once again live on stage soon. We hope to see them again for the next award show or perhaps with their solo concert soon! Congratulations to all the winners!
