Netmarble has announced that Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will launch for iOS and Android devices, as well as PC on May 25. The developer has also said that the game will feature cross-play between PC and smartphones. This means anyone playing on a PC can also play the game with their friends on a mobile device too.
The developers say that “As players explore the world of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, they will be drawn into a compelling story that requires them to take swift action in order to save their new fantasy home. Players can look forward to all this and more”

Pre-registration Rewards For Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
In case you didn’t already know this, the game was actually first launched in Japan last year. Players who pre-register for the global version via their respective app stores will receive an Explorer Outfit.
As for the game itself, it is set in the world of Ni no Kuni. The world of Ni no Kuni was originally created by Level-5 and the acclaimed Japanese animation powerhouse Studio Ghibli.

Furthermore, players can choose five playable classes — the Swordsman, the Witch, the Rogue, the Engineer, and the Destroyer. Each of these unique classes has a fully customisable appearance, allowing players to make each character by themselves. Since this particular Ni No Kuni game is focused on multiplayer action, players will be able to team up for PVP and PVE action.
The game also has a wide variety of mounts, available for players to acquire as they traverse the world. Giant cats, floating mechanical gliders, and grumpy birds are just some of the whimsical choices available. Last but not least, the game even features joining a Kingdom and working to rebuild the fallen Nameless Kingdom. Through cooperation, players can make their Kingdom stronger and even decorate it with their group’s unique style.
Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds To Feature A New Story
The developers say that the game brings a new story to a world already “rich with magic and wonder”. It is mainly set to centre around the player character, who hails from a futuristic city. At first, it looks like what they are playing is a virtual reality game called Soul Divers. However, they discover the fantasy world they’ve entered is very much real, and a mysterious girl named Rania tasks you with rebuilding her world’s kingdom to save both of your realities.
The game features an Immersive Anime World which is rendered in the Unreal 4 Engine. The game is also set to have many familiar faces, such as mysterious creatures who join players to fight alongside them. The place players can even go and relax, hang out, and visit all the Familiars they’ve collected. Players can decorate Farms with various accessories suited to their own unique preferences.
