Pokemon Anime has a weird history. So far the primary series has focused only on the journey of Ash Ketchum, which has taken almost two decades to conclude. With Ash and Pikachu’s journey, it seems the New Pokemon Anime is all about a new female protagonist. Couple that with a shiny Rayquaza (for now).
TV Tokyo has announced that the latest addition to the Pokémon franchise, a new anime series, will make its debut on April 14th. TV Tokyo will broadcast the show every Friday at 6:55 PM and they have also disclosed a fresh visual for the anime.
What’s up with the current Pokemon Anime?

Only a few episodes are left before Ash Ketchum and Pikachu bid farewell to the Pokemon anime as its leading characters.
- The final episodes of “Pokemon: Aim To Be A Pokemon Master” are providing them with a fitting send-off. Following up after Pokemon Journeys, the Aim to be a Pokemon Master anime has been more or less a nostalgic treat. A kind of tributary epilogue, if you will.
- Ash’s win in the big leagues happened after what seemed to be a depriving childhood lost over it. Although many fans may use the phrase – ‘childhood emerged in it’. Yes, fans have awaited so long for Ash to finally get that one league. Despite having lost multiple regions so far.
How many leagues did Ash Ketchum even win?

Audiences have previously witnessed Ash’s victories in two tournaments. The Orange League during the Orange Islands season and the Alola League in “Pokemon: Sun and Moon.”
However, to claim the title of World Champion, Ash had to triumph over formidable trainers from all his travels.
Who are the new protagonists in the New Pokemon Anime?
Two new trainers, Liko and Roy, will take over the series. The anime adaptation has given fans a specific date for the start of the next season and the beginning of a new chapter in the Pokemon franchise. And it is going to be within 2023 itself.
- Despite having been introduced to the new trainers who will be taking over from Ash and Pikachu, there are still many questions surrounding Liko and Roy.
- The dominant speculation that has been circulating online since their debut is that the female trainer Liko may have a significant connection with Ketchum.
New Pokemon Anime with a new female protagonist who is possibly connected to Ash?

Many Pokemon fans have theorized that she may be related to Ash in some way, given her hair clip, which resembles Ash’s insignia on one of his hats. This could also indicate that the next anime in the series, “Pocket Monsters,” will feature a time skip.
This would make sense as it would allow Ash and his friends to continue having roles in the series, although they would be much older than we have seen them over the years.
