It’s just about time! Netflix releases a teaser trailer for the much-awaited anime adaptation of the famous Scott Pilgrim graphic novels. We’ve learned about the show’s cast and earlier, Netflix revealed a title and release date in the trailer. The novel’s creator, Bryan Lee O’Malley, will spearhead this project, and you’d be surprised that the people behind the original film are also back! Scott Pilgrim Takes Off: Trailer Breakdown
Everyone is excited and stoked after seeing the new trailer for the Scott Pilgrim anime. Titled “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”, the highly anticipated anime is true to the source material, the graphic novels made by Canadian author Bryan Lee O’Malley. O’Malley is also working as a producer for the anime so it would be evident this show would be just like the original material. What’s very interesting is that the animation style is very much like the graphic novels.
We were mesmerized by the movie that came out in 2010 and now, Scott Pilgrim is back at it again. Comparing the film and the anime, we could say that the latter brings us back many years ago. There are countless similarities but what we can be sure of is that the animated series will be a perfect blend of the novel as well as the live-action movie.

Scott Pilgrim anime plot, cast, and release date
One, two, three, four! Prepare for another all-out war as Scott Pilgrim graces our screens once again. Based on the graphic novels of the same name, Scott Pilgrim follows the uncanny adventure of an awkward teenager who falls in love with a cool but enigmatic beautiful delivery girl named Ramona Flowers. But, in order to date her, Scott must first defeat all of Ramona’s seven evil exes. Sounds fun for us but extremely excruciating for Scott!
Netflix’s Scott Pilgrim Takes Off follows the same formula as the graphic novels and the movie, Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Moreover, we have already learned that the original cast (yes the whole original cast) from the film will return and voice the characters they once portrayed 13 years ago. Michael Sera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead return as voice actors for Scott and Ramona. Meanwhile, other actors who will reprise their roles are:

Aside from that, Edgar Wright, the director of the live-action film Scott Pilgrim, will also be the one directing this new project. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is slated to be released on November 17, 2023, exclusively on Netflix.
