March 10, 2022 – Nikola Jokic stuffed the stat sheet against the Sacramento Kings and held onto the win.
Jokic and the Nuggets took home the victory against Sac-Town, 106-100. He was everywhere on the floor, both offensively and defensively. The reigning MVP and this year’s MVP frontrunner was unbelievable, putting up 38 points, 18 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 blocks.

Though De’Aaron Fox played incredibly well for the Kings, scoring 32 huge points, it still was not enough. They tried to recover from an 18-point deficit in the 4th, but Denver kept them under control. Harrison Barnes also contributed with 17 points, while Trey Lyles had 14.
The Denver Nuggets are 40-27 and are currently in the 6th seed in the western conference.
Just recently, ex-Nuggets head coach George Karl made a bold statement about Jokic’s greatness.
As of the present, he’s already crowning Jokic as the greatest Denver Nuggets player in history.

“There have been some Nuggets greats- Bobby Jones, David Thompson, Alex English, Mutombo, Melo. [But] Jokic is the best.”. – George Karl via Twitter
Nikola Jokic was drafted as the 41st overall (2nd round) back in 2014. The Serbian big man joins Willis Reed as the only two players who were drafted in the 2nd round to be named league MVP.
This season, Jokic is once again making a statement as the league’s best center.
He is currently the frontrunner for this year’s MVP and might win it again soon. Obviously, he’s been the absolute cornerstone of the Denver Nuggets association.

The 27-year-old is having monster averages and is playing the best basketball in his career so far. He’s been consistently putting up 26.1 points, 13.8 rebounds, 8.1 assists, and 1.4 steals a night.
Jokic is carrying Denver on his back since Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. are both injured. Even though he’s the lone star in the team, he still manages to put Denver on top of the food chain.
