Memphis, Tennessee – In a game on March 1, 2022, one of the strongest teams in the West, the Memphis Grizzlies, faced off the San Antonio Spurs.
With just two and a half minutes left in the second quarter, Ja Morant drove to the basket when Jakob Poeltl tried to protect the rim. Poeltl tried to stop the star point guard, but Morant baptized Poeltl as he puts him on a huge poster. The announcers, the bench, as well as the fans were left in awe of what Ja had just done.

Morant dunking on people is not new. He is known for his great athleticism and ability to penetrate the basket. He does not fear contact and the physicality down below.
Just look at this ridiculous dunk attempt over Kevin Love. This could probably be one of the best in-game dunks if only it had gone through.

NBA fans wanted to see Ja Morant in a dunk contest but he hasn’t really shown interest in the contest.
Could we see a future dunk contest comprising Ja Morant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Edwards, and Zion Williamson?
The Grizzly’s win over the Spurs marks their 43rd win this season, putting them in the 3rd seed of a jampacked Western Conference (43-20). In their last 10 games, they’ve also played great as they won 8 out of 10.

In this game, Ja Morant and the Grizzlies made it look easy. It was a huge win, with a 118-105 victory over the Spurs.
This game was also a historic night for Memphis, as Ja Morant also recorded his career-high 52 points. Surprisingly, this is also the franchise career-high! Ja is only 22 years old! Imagine what he could do in ten years’ time.
