The Brooklyn Nets are set to take the center stage with another top team in the East, the Philadelphia 76ers.
This will be an exciting matchup, not because of them being great teams, but because of the previous drama stirred by James Harden and Ben Simmons.Â
It was a tough road for Ben Simmons and the Sixers organization before he was traded to the Nets for James Harden. The tension that arose between the star point guard and the team was a global hit and gathered mixed reactions around the league.

James Harden and the Nets also had this type of drama before. The Beard seemed to grow relentless and impatient of the team’s disappointing performance. Fans think he’s had enough of the Kyrie Irving drama, and then topped with Kevin Durant’s injury.
The James Harden and Joel Embiid duo has been working perfectly since the trade. For an instance, they have won 4 of their first 5 games together. The 76ers are also currently the top 2 team in the Eastern Conference, just 3 games behind the Miami Heat.

With Kevin Durant back in action and the addition of new faces on Brooklyn, the Nets are looking quite impressive.
When asked about his thoughts on their much-awaited matchup, Kyrie Irving teased with the game being “sweet”.
“It makes for good stories. It makes for good narratives.” “It’s never too personal, but we understand that as competitors, we want to win the game.” – Kyrie’s comments on his future matchup with Harden and the Sixers
In their next contest against the 76ers, Ben Simmons will not play but will be on the sidelines. It will be very exciting to see Ben Simmons and James Harden’s first appearance on their previous teams. The teams with which they have ill-fated relationships.

The Nets and the Sixers will battle it out for the first time since the All-Star break on March 11. By then, we will see an unexpected reunion between James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant.
