Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games just gave away the open beta for the platform fighting game, MultiVersus, a few days ago. The game took the scene by storm and kicked off with a bang after a successful closed alpha. Recently, there have been rumors of other popular characters in the Warner Bros. universe that is allegedly joining the pool of heroes in MultiVersus. While some have already been confirmed, there are new leaked characters that could make the game even bigger than Super Mario Smash Bros.

If you are one of the lucky ones who took part in early access to the open beta which started last July 19, you probably have played all of the confirmed characters listed below.

Rumored To Be Joining The MultiVersus Roster Very Soon

MultiVersus’ open beta will be open to everyone on July 26. With the gates being available to all, the NBA superstar LeBron James will also be slamming the ball hard in this platform fighting/action video game. In addition, according to Warner Bros., Season 1 of MultiVersus is officially set to be released on August 8, 2022. Subsequently, it will also mark the coming of Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith. It was already given since Mr. Meeseeks (an infamous character in Rick and Morty series) has already graced the gamers with their presence in the background of the arena. Before the open beta, there were already rumors about the coming of the characters mentioned before, which turned out to be true. In a few more days, we will be seeing them (LeBron, Rick, and Morty) alongside other characters in the Warner Bros. universe.

There are already a lot of names on this list so you might wonder how all of these would pan out. Games usually add playable characters every two months or so to make a proper introduction. While there are many more beloved characters fans would like to see such as Harry Potter, Beetlejuice, and even Michael Jordan (Space Jam), fans might have to wait for some time for all of these to come to reality.
MultiVersus open beta will be available for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The good news is, that the game will also support cross-play and cross-progression support across all of the mentioned platforms.
