Fortunately for the YouTuber, it seems that the tweet was posted just for clout. With Twitter’s algorithm nowadays, it’s easy for someone to go viral and get their fifteen seconds of fame.

  • The replies are also not taking the whole post from user ‘dinosaur’ seriously. Most of the users are responding with memes or going along with the joke.

MrBeast and other big accounts on Twitter got hacked back in July 2020

If you were already a fan of MrBeast back in 2020, then you’d be familiar with the Bitcoin hacking incident that happened on Twitter. There was a massive scale of hacking carried out by cybercriminals wherein they hacked into high-profile accounts like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and MrBeast.

These hackers posted tweets that asked for Twitter users to send them Bitcoin. In return, they would double the money anyone sent to the address. Unfortunately, a lot of Twitter users, including MrBeast’s followers, fell for the scam and gave hackers their money.

As for user ‘dinosaur’, the account has over 307 thousand followers because of their funny tweets. It doesn’t look like they have actually hacked into MrBeast’s Twitter account. If it was, then we’d hear it first from MrBeast’s close friends and collaborators.
