The latest collaboration from Fortnite is arguably one of its biggest so far, as it partners with content creator MrBeast. This limited-time event will open the item shop to Mr. Beast-themed items and collections. Players can also join a free event that will award $1 million to the person who can score the highest at MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge. Here’s everything you need to know about the event:
Free Stuff and $1 Million in Fortnite
Free-to-play players can opt to finish several limited-time objectives awarding exclusive cosmetics. The most notable ones will be the MrBeast Survival Games Loading Screen and the MrBeastGaming spray. Most objects require you to play the game, while others directly tie into the themed event.

The event is MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge island, created by Atlas Creative. The island launched at 9 AM ET on December 13. Players can begin testing and practicing when it’s accessible. The challenge will go live on December 16 from noon to 3 PM ET. Players have to join the Fortnite Competitive island with the code: 7990-6970-8565.
For the duration of the event, players can try to get the highest score possible. They will have to avoid obstacles, gather coins, and complete challenges. The player with the highest score will receive the $1 million prize. The top 100,000 players will also receive a consolation Beast Brella Umbrella glider.
Item Shop
Beginning on December 14, the Item Shop will have two MrBeast collection items for sale. The MrBeast collection will get you the MrBeast skin with a hat and a hatless alternate. It will also include the Beast Backdrop Wrap and the MrBeast Smasher Pickaxe.
The second collection is the MrBeast6000 outfit which features an anime look, complete with a masked costume. There is also an unmasked alternate and the following items:
- Beast Claw Pickaxe
- Wrapped and Revved Glider
- Prize Package Bag Bling
The bag itself is reactive. It will gain more money the more time you spend in a match.
Now is the Best Time to Play
Free events are always welcome in Fortnite, and the chance to win $1 million means anyone has a chance. Of course, competition will be tight, and players will have to practice to try and get the top spot among hundreds of thousands expected to play. Chapter 4 Season 1 is starting strong and will look to continue churning out content and collaborations.
The latest chapter explores a new location alongside many added gameplay features to keep the battle royale fresh. One of the most notable changes in this update is the visual features made possible through integrating Unreal Engine 5. Players can now enjoy an upgraded version of Fortnite with these added visual features.
Collaborations also continue to abound, with characters like Geralt of Rivia and Hulk appearing. Many of these will stay locked behind the Battle Pass or Item store.
