Minecraft: Elytra Guide, How To Get

In Minecraft, Elytra is a set of wings that allow players to fly in Survival mode. This sought-after object can only be found in end cities. It is in item frames you may find in treasure rooms on end ships.

How To Get Elytra

• Before being able to obtain an Elytra, Players must first battle the Ender Dragon and complete the game. Players can, however, obtain an Elytra once they have acquired access to the End Dimension.
• To enter the End dimension, players must use all twelve eyes of the ender to open an End Portal.
• End Portals are usually located in Stronghold’s Portal chamber.
• Players will transfer to the main island after accessing the End Portal. Which will serve as the platform for the Ender Dragon boss encounter.

The end cities, where Elytras can be discovered, are on the outlying islands, over 1000 blocks away from the main island. Players must usually defeat the Ender Dragon on the main island in order to reach the outer islands.

When players defeat the Ender Dragon, it creates an End Gateway, which players can utilize to visit the outer island right away.

Alternative

Instead of fighting the Ender Dragon, players can build a bridge to the outer islands to gain access to the End Gateway. The distance between the main island and the outer islands is substantial, as previously noted.

• The outer islands are a few dozen chunks away and can only be seen with the help of mods and greatly enhanced rendering capabilities.
• Players can build a bridge that connects them to the outlying islands in Minecraft. To accomplish this massive project, it will require a lot of time, effort, and thousands of blocks.
• Players can build the bridge out of any block, however, we favor common and plentiful blocks like cobblestone and mud.

Players should be aware that treading on the Ender Dragon’s land will result in them having to build a shelter to protect themselves while constructing the bridge.

Without defeating the Ender Dragon, a Minecraft player who successfully builds their bridge will have uninterrupted access to the outer islands.

Minecraft players can explore the outer islands as normal until they discover an end city. Once they’ve found an end city, they should hurry to an end ship’s treasure room to retrieve their prized Elytra.
