It has been just 5 days since Spider-Man came out, but many enthusiasts have already completed the game and are hungry for more. Spider-Man is already set to receive its first batch of DLC- The City That Never Sleeps in October, with two other content drops expected before the end of the year.
While the DLC is being planned, it seems players will have a reason to play through the campaign again in the immediate future. Insomniac Games have revealed on Twitter that a New Game Plus mode is in the works for Marvel’s Spider-Man and seems to be pretty close. Replying to a fan on Twitter, Insomniac confirmed the mode, saying:

After the update is released players will again be able to swing back to action. New Game Plus mode typically provides extra challenges to give games added replayability. We don’t yet know exactly what Insomniac has in store for Spider-Man’s new game update, but it’s likely to be along these lines.
This latest announcement comes in the wake of recent news that Spider-Man is the fastest selling game of 2018 in the UK. With the New Game Plus mode on its way, it seems Spider-Man is set to stay in the limelight for a long time to come.
