Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood Posts Bail

The famous Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood has been alleged of sexual assault. The claims by Harriet Robson, who is allegedly Mason Greenwood’s ex-girlfriend, on her Instagram stories. Mason Will John Greenwood is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United.

Allegation

The ex-girlfriend attached gruesome images of her wounds as proof. Additionally, it included a series of audiotapes, with Greenwood allegedly forcing himself on the young woman. The posts were all deleted from the social media site. The England player also allegedly sent death threats to the young woman for posting the proofs in the Instagram stories.

“Greater Manchester Police were made aware earlier today of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence,” the force said in a statement.

Greenwood was reportedly taken into custody on January 30th after proof of his alleged assault was brought to light. However, Mason Greenwood has been granted bail on February 2. Manchester United released a statement and said they would not comment further until all the facts had been established.

“We are aware of the images and allegations circulating on social media. We will not make any further comments until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.”

The career of the famous striker is now in danger. No final conclusions at this time yet as the investigation is still ongoing.
