Marvel Studios has unveiled a new mid-season trailer for Loki Season 2, offering a glimpse of what’s to come in the final two episodes of the series. The trailer features fresh footage, including a sneak peek at Mobius’ mysterious life beyond the TVA. It also shows the God of Mischief urging his friend to return to the TVA.
Loki Season 2 Mid-Season Trailer Teases Mobius Returning to His Own Timeline
In the teaser, Loki informs Mobius that, “All of existence is in grave danger. The TVA is gone.” However, the former TVA agent, now a jet ski salesman, responds with confusion, “I think you mean ATV. And no, we got in two of ’em last week.”
It’s only a small glimpse at what will happen to the duo but fans have eagerly awaited the chance to explore Mobius’ previous life. After all, it was a concept that was initially cut from early drafts of Season 1. Luckily, fans can finally see it as Loki pays a visit to Piranha Powersports to reconnect with his friend Mobius. However, it appears that the two have much to catch up on, especially since it looks like Mobius’ memories have been erased.
But is Mobius’ departure from the TVA a result of the Temporal Loom’s explosion in the previous episode? As the series hurtles towards its conclusion, viewers can anticipate more surprises, revelations, and intriguing character developments in the remaining episodes of Loki Season 2. What We Know So Far in Loki Season 2
In the latest episode of Loki Season 2, the enigmatic character O.B. assembles a team consisting of Loki, Mobius, and the unexpected ally Victor Timely to address the crisis surrounding the Temporal Loom. Their plan entails temporarily deactivating Miss Minutes and employing the magical abilities of Loki and Sylvie to facilitate a system reboot for the TVA. Sylvie, using her enchantment skills, compels X-15 aka Brad Wolfe to prune Ravonna Renslayer. With these two out of the way and in custody, the group gains access to the Temporal Loom.
Victor Timely volunteers to venture into the Loom wearing a spacesuit and utilize his Throughput Multiplier to perform the necessary repairs. This act sheds light on his true character, suggesting he may not be another He Who Remains-style antagonist. Everything seems to be going as planned. However, as O.B. exposes Timely to the continuously branching timelines within the Loom, his body is grotesquely torn apart, reduced to spaghetti-like shreds. Helplessly, the rest of the TVA watches as the Loom collapses, plunging everything into darkness.
For now, the fate of the TVA is unknown. Nevertheless, the truth could finally be revealed in Loki Season 2 Episode 5, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 2, 2023.
