Unlike LEGO’s other Super Mario sets, like The Mighty Bowser or Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block, the Piranha Plant doesn’t directly interact with the existing Lego Super Mario LEGO sets. However, that shouldn’t deter you from adding this charming character to your Lego Super Mario collection. It’s set to launch exclusively at online and retail Lego Stores later this fall.

Priced at $59.99 in the United States, the LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant (71426) is in the same price ballpark as LEGO’s Botanical Collection. Compared to some of LEGO’s more intricate sets, like the LEGO Titanic, which retails for a hefty $679.99, this one’s a steal.

As of now, the LEGO Piranha Plant will be exclusively available on the official LEGO website and LEGO Stores. However, it’s important to note that it’s not yet available for purchase.
