League of Legends is taking the final weeks of the year in stride, but that doesn’t mean Riot Games isn’t already planning all of the news that will impact the popular MOBA in the coming year. The corporation has published the patch calendar section of its support website, revealing the number of versions that will be available in 2022.

Updates will be distributed on Wednesdays, as they have been in the past (although there will be some exceptions moved to Thursdays). Furthermore, these changes will occur every 2 weeks, in accordance with the company’s dynamics. Naturally, all of these dates could alter for a range of factors.
Season 12
Season 12 and 2022 will receive their first official update on January 5th. League of Legends will stay in its most recent version until then, which was launched on December 15 to cap off the year 2021. Actually, the most recent patch is a minor one that merely adjusts the balance of champions without introducing any new content.
