Sony has shipped over 7 million PS5 units to the US so far. With this additional increase, supply has seen a 400% year-on-year increase. Here’s a graph financial analyst David Gibson shared on Twitter.

- With an increased supply, we could see multiple waves of PS5 restocks ahead of God of War Ragnarok’s launch. Major retailers such as PlayStation Direct, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart are getting stock for sure.
- Whether or not we’ll see stock in other outlets such as Meijer, Adorama, Antonline, B&H Photo, Costco, Dell, and Sam’s Club remains unknown. Of all these outlets, we’ve seen Antonline and Sam’s Club be the most frequent ones, doing PS5 restocks every once in a while. The other stores have been inactive for more than a year now.

Companies are most likely reserving stock to release around GOW: Ragnarok’s release, which is November 9.
