After making his debut on March 1st, Kevin Durant immediately proved that he’s one of the best players in the league. In 3 games, he averages 26.7 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting an efficient 69% on the floor. Moreover, the Suns haven’t lost a game since adding Durant to their roster.
Durant has been riddled by injuries in the latter part of his career. Earlier this year, the Slim Reaper was forced to miss 20 games after a right MCL sprain. He also missed the 2023 All-Star game in which he was voted as a starter.
The 2-time NBA champion is arguably the most lethal scorer in the league. Although he has suffered career-ending injuries in the past, that did not stop him from dominating. The Phoenix Suns are currently 4th in the Western Conference and are on their way to making a successful playoff run.
