Keanu Reeves will voice The Batman in the upcoming film “DC League of Super-Pets.” The official trailer dropped three months ago, but it didn’t feature any scenes with Reeves’ Batman. But in the newest trailer from Warner Bros.’ official YouTube account, we finally hear Reeves in action.
Check out the Batman trailer for the DC League of Super-Pets below.
Although it’s tradition for Batman to have Robin as his sidekick, taking Robin’s place is Ace the Bat-Hound. In the trailer, we see Batman and Ace share similar backstories of losing their families. Then, we see Ace seemingly trust Batman as he hops on the Dark Knight and begins affectionately lapping at his face.
DC League of Super Pets tells the story of how Krypto seeks out fellow animal sidekicks to save Superman and the rest of the Justice League. He manages to gather a team composed of Ace the Bat-Hound, PB the Potbellied Pig, Merton the Turtle, and Chip the Squirrel.

The film features a star-studded cast to voice the classic DC superheroes.
Dwayne Johnson voices Krypto the Super-Dog opposite John Krasinki’s Clark Kent/Superman. Kevin Hart voices Ace the Bat-Hound opposite Keanu Reeves’ Bruce Wayne/Batman. Other cast members include Vanessa Bayer, Kate McKinnon, Marc Maron, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, and Ben Schwartz.

When will the film released in theaters?
The upcoming animated film from DC will have an international premiere on May 18, 2022. However, North America will be two days late, with the film releasing in the area on May 20, 2022. This isn’t the first time Reeves stars in a DC project as he portrayed John Constantine in the 2005 film Constantine.
