After the successful releases of FEARLESS and ANTIFRAGILE, LE SSERAFIM just dropped another huge comeback. Starting May 2023 on a high note, LE SSERAFIM released their first full-length album, UNFORGIVEN, with the same title track. Rocking the K-pop world once again, let’s look at the UNFORGIVEN’s music video and pick the top 5 scenes that completely blew us away.
LE SSERAFIM’s newest release: UNFORGIVEN
LE SSERAFIM continues to buzz around the K-pop industry with their bop releases. FEARLESS had us dancing with, “I’m fearless, HUH!” ANTIFRAGILE took over our music streaming platforms. We can’t deny we were like “Anti-ti-ti-tifragile” -ing until they dropped their newest album. NGL, LE SSERAFIM’s “Unforgiven, I’m a Villain, I’m a” has been stuck in our minds entirely since it got released.
Miyawaki Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Nakamura Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae took us on a rollercoaster ride in their latest music video drop. And while we’re at it, share your favorite and the best scenes from their UNFORGIVEN music video. You may want to check out ours below!
5) The movie concept
I didn’t know what to expect when I first watched the music video. Despite seeing the concept photos they released weeks before, I cannot fathom what would happen in the MV. So, when it began, they chose a movie concept. I love how it panned to the place and went through the crowd. And at the end, the camera reached a sitting Kazuha staring and waiting for the camera before she stood up.

Also, notice the place’s name; it writes LE SSERAFIM too! And, of course, this movie starred none other than the group themselves, LE SSERAFIM. Even their logo scene slowly burns as the UNFORGIVEN MV’s introduction seems satisfying. Now that we’re hyped up, let’s check out the rest of the music video!
4) The table scene
I expected Kazuha to dance when she started to sing, “Unforgiven, I’m a Villain, I’m a.” But what caught me pleased and surprised was when the zoomed camera on Kazuha started to move backward to catch the rest of the group dancing with her – at their respective table.

I find it satisfying to see the synchronized dancing of the five-member girl group atop the tables to add. The restaurant’s customers as they froze sums up my reaction to that scene. And just before it ends, viewers are graced with Sakura’s visual.
3) The car scene
I remembered that La La Land scene with all the cars and them dancing on the roofs. And love how it fitted the lively tune of the song when the scene started. Everyone left their cars, cheered, and hyped up the LE SSERAFIM girls! “Come to the faraway land with me, my ‘unforgiven girls.’ Come and cross the line with me, my ‘unforgiven boys.'” Yes, we are coming with you, SSERA!

And while they sang it in chorus, they were stomping and dancing to their choreography to the beat. What added more to this scene? They have coordinated outfits wherein they all donned baggy denim pants. They look so cool and chic!
2) Kazuha’s burning wings
Who wouldn’t love this scene?! Fans had a peek at Kazuha’s solo performance when she sang, “Let me tell you ’bout LE SSERAFIM,” I knew I had to put it as my second-favorite scene. Then when Yunjin shot her arrow, the video silenced. And it went straight to where Kazuha was – walking with her other wing burning and the other already burnt.

I love how powerful this scene represents. If I interpret it correctly, it seems like removing a piece of yourself that’s burning you down. Well, it could also represent a fallen angel, as their song suggests UNFORGIVEN, right? Whatever it is, I may have this seen engraved in my mind.
1) LE SSERAFIM’s duality
I have seen this scene almost on every social media platform I visited. Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook FEARNOTs (their fandom) probably had this scene on repeat for quite a while now. And you’d probably agree why – look at their duality! LE SSERAFIM’s facial expressions quickly changed in a snap, and that’s what we love to see!

Honestly, I was too busy looking at Yunjin at first and had to repeat the scene four times to see each member’s expression. Their emotions perfectly suit the lines “Unforgiven, I’m a villain, I’m a.” And if you can notice, their charisma and emotions are overflowing for almost the whole music video, especially with their solo parts!
