Jungkook has been conquering the global music scene since his much-awaited solo debut in July 2023. As he has been busy promoting his new hit song, Seven, featuring the American rapper and singer Latto, many want to know if he will soon embark on a world tour, just like his fellow BTS member, Suga. If these hints have anything to go by, it looks like fans will also see their favorite maknae travel all over the world.
Hints Jungkook may Embark on a Solo World Tour
Several hints seem to allude that Jungkook will soon embark on a solo world tour after his debut this year. From the posters to the interviews to the K-pop star’s music video, they all seem to tease that he will hold a series of solo concerts worldwide, which may happen very soon.
The rumors about Jungkook’s solo world tour are once again alive after Tanu Muino, the acclaimed Ukrainian director behind the artist’s new music video, Standing Next to You, shared behind-the-scenes photos on his Instagram Stories, and one of them quickly sent fans into a frenzy. The image in question features a “JK World Tour” signage, making everyone think that it’s a subtle hint that the BTS member will promote his music on a global scale.

In addition, fans spotted posters for Seven in different cities worldwide, like New York, San Francisco, Berlin, and Bangkok. The 25-year-old’s photos were placed on walls, streets, and even in a telephone box, among others. So, does this mean he will be visiting these places? And to heighten the speculations, BTS’s official Instagram page shared on its Stories, as captured by Golden Times’ X (formerly Twitter) account, the cities where the said posters were posted, seemingly subtly announcing tour places. Aside from the estates mentioned earlier, the displayed images were also seen in Paris, London, and Los Angeles.
To add more fuel to the fire, Jungkook himself expressed his interest in having a solo world tour in a live broadcast with his fans in September. One fan asked the hitmaker if he would ever hold a world tour in the future, to which he said, “I don’t have plans just yet, but of course, if I can, I do want to.”

He then explained that he needed a lot of songs for that to happen. And though he didn’t have any plans yet, he wanted to do it. “I guess that’s it,” he concluded.
Jungkook even said that same thing in a Q&A with Ryan Seacrest when he introduced Seven on his radio show, American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest. “So, Jungkook said in a Q&A the other day that he would love to do a world tour, but he doesn’t feel ready for it yet because he doesn’t have enough songs to perform,” the famed host revealed, via Koreaboo.
But it didn’t just end there; Seacrest hinted that after Jungkook’s album releases, the latter would announce his tour as he’s allegedly “hitting the road once he’s got a set list ready.”

With these hints, it may not be far that Jungkook will embark on his solo tour, though it may not happen anytime soon. But it can be denied that these teasers are seemingly preparing fans for what’s to come.
The Possibilities of Jungkook’s World Tour
Among the seven members of BTS, only Suga has held a solo tour so far. So, will Jungkook follow in his footsteps and embark on his world journey alone?
Though nothing is confirmed yet, there’s a big possibility of it. With the success of his solo debut, not to mention the success of his solo songs, it may not be far that he will take his solo promotion to another level through a world tour.

He’s set for a monumental success with the international and critical acclaim his solo debut has achieved. So, by the looks of it, it’s only a matter of time before his solo world tour happens, and the only thing fans have been waiting for today is an official confirmation and announcement.
