Born November 28, 2004, Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter Moder are 19 years old. And now that they’re all grown-ups, Julia Roberts can’t help but be emotional and shares a throwback photo of them together when they were still babies.
The black-and-white image sees the Pretty Woman star sitting on the floor while the two kids are on her lap. “✨✨19✨✨ There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together 💕,” the caption reads.
It has been known that Roberts and her husband, Daniel Moder, are notorious when it comes to their privacy. Hence, it’s only a rare occasion that she will post anything about her family. The last time she made a post about her kids was on the twins’ birthday last year, sharing another throwback snap on their 18th birthday.
Aside from the twins, the couple also shares Henry Daniel Moder, 16.

In April 2022, Julia Roberts talked about parenting and revealed the “really critical” lessons she and her husband had been using every day.
“I think it’s our personal responsibility to advocate for ourselves, and I think that my husband and I both are people of strong convictions and opinions and compassion, and I think that we try to instill that in our kids as much by example as by preaching,” she told E!
She continued that the society and culture in which the kids are coming to age is interesting. Hence, they bear a huge responsibility—compared to when she was their age—to speak their minds for themselves and advocate for their beliefs.
And just like other parents, she told Hoba Kotb on Today in October 2022 that she, too, doubts her parenting skills and is afraid that she may blow things up.
“It’s an interesting society and culture that they’re coming to age within, and I think that… they bear a huge responsibility—more than I think I did at their age—to speak their minds and speak up for themselves and advocate for the things that they believe in,” she said. “The truth is…no matter how old we are, [our children] have chosen us in this moment to be their stewards and their shepherds in this life experience.”
Julia Roberts is one of the few stars shielding her kids from the public’s eye. Despite being an A-list star and one of the most famous actresses of her generation, she wants her children to live as normal lives as possible.
