Almost a month after Johnny Depp’s courtroom victory against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp is now ready to bring back the spark of his career that was put on hold. Due to the defamation case and 6-week trial he faced.
With this new chapter in his life, Disney has reportedly shown interest in Depp again.

Reports have buzzed fans online when Poptopic posted its article about Disney and its allegedly $301 Million deal with Depp according to an insider in the industry. The deal comprises the money and formal apology for Depp to reprise his Jack Sparrow character in the Pirates of the Caribbean.
If you didn’t know, Depp was removed from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise way before the result of his trial against Heard. Not only that franchise but he was also removed from Fantastic Beasts. Making Depp’s career hanging by a thread at that time because of the libel lawsuits.
But fans are not advised to quickly celebrate Depp’s Jack Sparrow come back.
Depp is not reprising his role
The truth is, Depp is not likely to be back in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. A representative from Depp’s team has told the NBC News (via E! News) saying “This is made up” denying the Disney $301 Million deal circulating online.
Even during the trial, Depp was asked by Heard’s attorney Ben Rottenborn the question “If Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean film? Correct?”
The actor simply answered, “That is true, Mr. Rottenborn.”
What’s next for Depp’s career comeback?
Aside from being an actor, Depp is also a rock star. He currently has a tour with Hollywood Vampires this June.
There are a lot of rumors of Depp returning to Hollywood and the big screen again. But it would be best to wait for official announcements about Depp’s next projects.
