Following his widely awaited comeback to the big screen following his 2023 snowplow accident, “Knives Out” franchise is getting up for another round of suspenseful mystery with the announced casting of Jeremy Renner in “Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man.”
Confirmed Cast Members
Renner joins a group that already boasts a wealth of outstanding performers and actresses. Daniel Craig, who gained notoriety as the eccentric yet perceptive investigator Benoit Blanc, will play the part again. Josh O’Connor and Cailee Spaeny, two young artists, are sharing the spotlight. Accompanying them are veteran performers Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, and the renowned Glenn Close, whose casting suggests a character with a great deal of subtlety.
Though he hasn’t revealed any narrative details, writer-director Rian Johnson has hinted that “Wake Up Dead Man” will have a different tone than the prior entries. Viewers become intrigued by this and are left to speculate about the nature of the most recent crime and the connections between the characters.
