Starting on February 17th, The JoJo Lands will be featured in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump. The preliminary sketches imply that the young Joestar, who will serve as the protagonist, will engage in Stand battles set in a tropical and aquatic environment. (unlike previous parts of the franchise.)
There have been speculations that JoJo Lands could be the last chapter in the long-running franchise that began in the 1980s.

- Araki had previously confirmed in interviews that this new Joestar is a descendant of Joseph Joestar.
- Though not the one who appeared in earlier installments like Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, and Diamond Is Unbreakable. The new Joestar’s lineage confirms the universe to which JoJo Lands belongs.
The next Speedwagon (Jobro?) in Jojo Lands?
Fans can expect a standard opening sequence where the protagonist and their “JoBro,” or sidekick, are fully introduced. Jo Bros have been a particular niche in the Jojo’s Series. For the uninitiated, a JoBro is the closest bro a Jo (Joester) has.

Araki has expressed his desire to continue working on the manga indefinitely if possible. Therefore, there is a possibility that more JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga could follow the ninth installment.
When will it be adapted into an Anime?
It is unclear whether an anime adaptation for JoJo Lands is in the works. If David Production were to create an anime adaptation for this new chapter, it is likely to take several years to reach the small screen, particularly as the franchise still has to adapt Steel Ball Run and JoJolion.
