Production I.G Is an animation studio known for a guild of anime movies that are adaptations. Ghost in The Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Haikyuu!! the movie, etc are only a few examples. Then we have TOHO who does not back away when tasked with making a film that tops the chart. Be it My Hero Academia, Godzilla, or heck it, the biggest anime standalone phenomena worldwide – Your Name.
For all you care, TOHO is now greenlit for the production of a Psycho-Pass season 3 prequel Movie – Psycho-Pass: Providence. Psycho-Pass announced a 10th-anniversary project which will launch this October. Production I.G Is animating it with TOHO Distributing the movie.

The latest 10th Anniversary Teaser trailer revealed that they will release full details of the production in October. Production I.G will animate the film and TOHO will distribute it. Director Naoyoshi Shiotani will return to direct the film. Original Character Design is by Akira Amano. As of now, the following cast is more or less confirmed to be in the film –

Where Can We Watch The Film?
One should be able to watch the film on Amazon Prime given that Amazon Prime has taken the distribution rights of the last film and season. Although there is a possibility for it to be amazon exclusive, there’s a chance Crunchyroll will premiere it worldwide on their platform.
What WIll Psycho-Pass Providence Be About?
I.G Production developed the previous film within only a few months of being announced. It followed Arata Shindo and Kei Mikhail Ignatov who are entangled with the MWPSB. The 10th-anniversary project is a sustained initiative. Focusing on the journey of Psycho-Pass as a series throughout the decade. The Voice actor of Shinya Kogami, the series’ protagonist, will be the head front of the entire platform. The celebration and announcement of the 10th-anniversary project of Psycho-Pass happened at the Psycho-Pass 10th Anniversary event held on August 14. Psycho-Pass 10th Anniversary Radio Program

- The Noitamina Shop & Cafe theatre was scheduled for a campaign with products, goods, artworks, illustrations, and a collaborative food menu addition that started on September 3rd, 2022. They will also broadcast the radio show.
- If you happen to straddle along Tokyo, be sure to give the cafe a visit as it will also screen the first season of Psycho-Pass. This will start in October. The characters birthdays will also be enjoyed beginning with the protagonist who was born on 16th August.
The Loft Store Campaign
- It is a product sale campaign that will travel starting with Loft Nagoya in Aichi, Loft in Kyoto, Tenjin Loft in Fukuoka, Loft in Sendai in Miyagi, Loft in Umeda in Osaka, Loft in Shibuya in Tokyo, and Loft in Kanagawa/Yokohama.
- The campaign will sell using the main visual and illustrations by character designer Naoyuki Onda.
Psycho-Pass 10th Anniversary Special Online Exhibition
Famous scenes from the 1st to 3rd seasons of the TV anime will be on display. The 10th Anniversary Project will sell goods using newly drawn illustrations.
