There’s a brand new questline in Pokémon GO, revolving around its new Mega Evolution system.
The event is live now in-game. It will be running until September 17.
Till September 17, players will have access to a unique quest that rewards you with Beedrill Mega Energy, a powerful resource required to mega-evolve your Pokémon!
If you’re a fan of the anime you might already know that Mega Evolution lets one temporarily change your Pokémon in battle. Thus giving it special properties!
As this effect is only available for a small period of time, these new quests are all revolved around Mega Energy.
Pokémon GO: Mega Battle Challenge event Timed Researched quests
There are four steps to complete the Challenge. These are the following Mega Battle Challenge Timed Research quests that are available until September 17.
1/4:
- Battle in a Raid
- Catch seven Bug-type Pokémon
- Power Up Pokémon seven times
- Rewards:: three revives, five Poké Balls, one upgrade, 35 Beedrill Mega Energy, 500 Stardust, 1000 XP.
2/4:
- Battle in a Raid
- Battle in a Mega Raid
- Battle another Trainer
- Rewards: three Revives, three Golden Razz Berries, one Sinnoh Stone, 40 Beedrill Mega Energy, 1000 Stardust, 2000 experience point.s
3/4:
- Battle in three Raids
- Battle three Team Go Rocket Grunts
- Mega Evolve a Pokémon
- Rewards: Pinsir encounter, five Revives, three Silver Pinap berries, 60 Beedrill Mega Energy, 1000 Stardust, 2000 experience points.

- Claim Reward!
- Claim Reward!

- Rewards: 10 Poké Balls, three Max Revives, three Hyper Potions, Roserade encounter, 2500 Stardust, 5000 experience points.
