What is the story of Horimya?
For those who are new to the world of Horimiya, let me give you a quick rundown. The story follows the lives of two high school students, Kyouko Hori, and Izumi Miyamura.
On the surface, they seem like complete opposites Hori is popular, outgoing, and top of her class, while Miyamura is a quiet, introverted loner who keeps to himself.

But as the series progresses, we see that there is much more to these two than meets the eye. Hori has a secret side to her that she keeps hidden from her classmates. While Miyamura has a surprising number of tattoos and piercings that he also keeps concealed.
As the two of them get to know each other better, they begin to uncover each other’s secrets and a deep friendship develops between them. They begin to realize that they are in love.
What will be different in this new adaptation?

Despite the fact that the original manga series was adapted from start to finish in 2021, the adaptation was not able to cover the entirety of the manga. This new adaptation promises to bring more romantic and comedy sequences that fans are familiar with in the manga version.
The official cast of the series has announced that there are still some chapters from the manga that have not been adapted. And these will be covered in this new project Horimiya -piece-.
While it has not been clearly stated whether the new adaptation will be a sequel or not. The fact that it will cover the skipped stories suggests that it may be more of a spin-off.
