Guwahatians, it is your time to experience professional gaming! Hopper’Z Arena, a local gaming cafe is organizing its first-ever Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament this November with a whopping prize-pool of over Rs. 25,000, including with exclusive goodies!

Tournament Details

Assam is a great state and there are innumerable gamers here. Every now and then when I go for a walk, I stumble upon people gossiping about Awps, head-shots, rushing B and the amazing songs played in Indian CS:GO. However, we can’t think of gaming as a serious business because of lack of opportunities. This is what Hopper’Z Arena is trying to change.

Vikash Goyal dreams to create opportunities for Assamese gamers and provide them with a platform to compete against each other, showcase their talents and earn big, all by playing their choice of games.

This tournament is the first chapter of the journey and we have miles to travel.

Registrations & Dates

To register for the tournament, just fill up this form – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9CDTLYB. Once you’re done, an executive will call you regarding the registration fee and how to pay it. Registration fee is Rs. 1000 per team.

As per the dates, the tournament will run from November 4th – 5th.

Please note: Depending on the situation and the number of teams, dates might be extended.

Prizes

The total prize-pool is over Rs. 25,000 including exclusive goodies from sponsors. The winning team will take home a prize-money of Rs. 10,000 along with goodies worth Rs. 10,000. So that’s Rs. 20,000 in the bag. The runners-up team will be rewarded with goodies worth over Rs. 5,000. For now, that’s everything. But prizes might increase depending on the scenario.

Reporting Time and Venue

Reporting time for the tournament will be 10 AM sharp on the given dates. The venue is Hopper’Z Arena. Complete address already listed at the top of the page.

Playoff Format

It will be a 5v5 tournament. Maps will be decided by toss. The tournament will follow single-elimination (knockout) format. Only Semi-Finals and Finals will be Best of 3.
