In Hogwarts Legacy, figuring out the right way to get the treasure in the Solved by the Bell side quest is a tricky task to undertake. The treasure and its map’s locations may not be hard to find nor is it filled with obstacles and enemies. However, the process of solving the Solved by the Bells quest’s musical map is not that straightforward.

Finding the Musical Map for Solved by the Bell quest
In order to finish the Solved by the Bell quest in Hogwarts Legacy, players have to get to Henrietta’s Hideaway first where they will find a Musical Map that leads them to the hidden treasure. The dungeon is located in the southern portion of the Manor Cape in the map.
- Here, you’ll encounter a spell cube puzzle. Cast Glacius on the first cube on the right and you can find the second cube by lighting the torch near you. Once you’re done moving the cubes, cast Incendio on it to open the large wooden door.
- If you head down the stairs of the dungeon, you will fight some enemies and then open a hidden room. Here, you will find the Musical Map that will start the Solved by the Bell quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
Solving the musical Bell puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy
The next step is to use the Musical Map which will lead you to the location of the bells. For this, you will have to travel to Clagmar Castle in Clagmar Coast and defeat the enemies inside it. You can find the bells in the southwestern end of the castle.
- Now, the tricky part of solving the Musical Map’s sheet music puzzle is to play the tune it carries on the bells in front of you. Use the image above as reference to play the music in that exact order by shooting a basic cast on the bells.
- Or, if you’re counting from lowest to highest bells from the bottom, use this order to play the tune: 2, 5, 7, 6, 5, 9, 8, 6.
Getting the treasure in the Solved by the Bells side quest
The fun part is the tune is actually the Harry Potter theme from the movies. Portkey Games deserves special appreciation for this wonderful little Easter egg.
