Blizzard Entertainment launched Saviors of Uldum, the new adventure-filled expansion of Hearthstone.
The second part of the annual Hearthstone trilogy, Saviors of Uldum has 135 new cards that expand the possibilities to love decks with new minions, spells, and weapons dug up from the deserts of Uldum, an ancient civilization full of moldy graves, powerful artifacts and dangers that will leave you breathless.
Saviors of Uldum marks the exciting return of the Expeditionary League, composed of Elise Starseeker, Brann Bronzebeard, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Reno Jackson, four of the most popular characters in the game, who have risen legendarily. Each member of this intrepid archaeologist foursome now has a powerful Battle Cry that activates if there are no duplicate cards in the player’s deck.
In addition, Saviors of Uldum will unleash the powerful Plague cards in Hearthstone, such as the Murloc Plague, which transforms all the minions of the board into some of the adorable aggressive amphibians of the game.
Players will also run into the new keyword Renacer, a new state-of-the-art embalming technique that allows stubborn and harder minions to crack back into life with only 1 Health when they defeat them. The nine classes can embark on new Missions that, upon completion, will grant an alternative Hero Power.
Saviors of Uldum card packages can be obtained through Hearthstone Arena mode, and can also be purchased with game gold or real money at the same price as the other Hearthstone card packages.
Players who log in after launch for a limited time may receive one of the new legendary Mission cards, chosen at random from those in the kit.
