The year 2020 has been one of the most awaited years for gamers, thanks to the launch of both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While fans have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on the console, the scarcity of stocks have prevented millions of fans across the world from getting the console.
While the console has been restocked across various retailers quite a few times after the initial release date, only a limited number of units were available and a lot of people are still unable to get their hands on the PS5. Sony has been constantly reassuring that it is actively working on producing more units to match the demand but the ongoing pandemic has definitely hurt the entire supply chain. A large number of fans are still wondering when they can actually get their hands on the PS5 easily.
As of now, there is not much known about when the PS5 will be widely available. However, considering the increase in demand for consoles towards the end of the year, it is likely that one shouldn’t expect that to happen by the end of this year. Instead, we can expect the situation to improve by February 2021, since Sony should be able to manufacture enough consoles by then. Not to forget, the Holiday season will end by then so the demand should reduce, to some extent.
Until then, your best bet is to keep an eye on Twitter to stay updated about when the console will be restocked. We at Spiel Times have been actively tweeting about the restocking status across all major retailers, and you can follow us on Twitter to get instant updates about the restocking status.
