Most Monuments have CCTV cameras spread throughout every server. You can strategize or totally ignore specific locations if you spot aggressive players strolling around with a vision of your intended routes.

Your Own CCTV?
While gaining access to such CCTV cameras is straightforward, there are several actions you’ll have to take in Rust to have your own.
Step 1: Computer Station
If you’d like to keep tabs on your opposing groups, you’ll have to get a Computer Station. Because the Computer Station is not immediately acquired, you’ll need a blueprint to make one. Make sure you have a Level 2 Workbench!

A Computer Station may also be bought for 300 Scrap at the Outpost.
Step 2: The CCTV
You’ll have to create an energy source before you can use your Computer Station. It will work just fine with a simple turbine, small generator, or solar panel.
After you’ve established and plugged up your Computer Station, you’ll need to create your own ID. By choosing the Set ID prompt, you can create a password for your CCTV profile, which you should remember because it will be required to view the CCTV system on your Computer Station.
