So if you want a high crit chance weapon and rocking a crit-focused build, Overdrive will take your critical hits into the stratosphere. We’re talking about one-shot deleting enemies. If bigger crits and crit chances are your cravings, you need Overdrive in your Mutator loadout.
#7. Dervish

The Vengeful Strike Mutator will unleash your fury when you need it most. This Mutator activates when your health drops below 50%, increasing melee damage by 20% and melee crit chance by 15% at max level.
If you live for high-risk, high-reward combat and want to hit like a runaway freight train at low health, Vengeful Strike is the Mutator for you. Remember: the closer to oblivion, the more overwhelming your vengeance!
#4. Shield Breaker
Do you know what complements supreme melee offense? An impenetrable defense! That’s exactly what Shield Breaker provides. This Mutator can generate a stackable shield that can soak up obscene amounts of punishment.
- Each melee hit creates a shield worth 2% of your maximum health that stacks up to 10 times. At max stacks, that’s a 20% health shield!
- When fully upgraded to level 10, Shield Breaker doubles the shield strength to 40% of your max health.
- But wait, there’s more! Shield Breaker also supercharges your next charged melee attack by consuming the entire shield when used for a huge damage boost.

#3. Timewave

- Each activation of your weapon mod generates a 7-meter slowing field that heavily reduces enemy movement and attacks for 3.5 seconds. This allows you to effortlessly dodge otherwise unavoidable attacks and set up killer combos on helpless, slowed enemies.
- And when upgraded to max level, Timewave increases the duration of the slow zone to 7 seconds.
