In the ever-evolving world of Rainbow Six Siege, new operators constantly join the roster, bringing fresh gameplay dynamics and strategic possibilities. Among these unique characters is Fenrir, a fearsome Viking-inspired defender from Sweden. We will talk about some tips and tricks to win R6 matches using Fenrir. Let’s get into it!

Who is Fenrir?
Fenrir, also known by his real name, Emil Svensson, is an army scientist with an array of powerful tools that make him a force to be reckoned with. His primary gadget, the “F-NATT Dread Mine,” is a circular gas mine capable of anchoring to various surfaces.
When triggered, the mine will open up and release a thick, non-lethal purple hallucinogenic gas within a set radius, drastically impairing visibility and deafening most sounds to enemies caught inside the mine’s proximity.
Where and when to use F-NATT Dread Mine
Fenrir’s unique ability to release vision-blocking gas is a terrifying tool to slow down the attacker’s siege plans. Now, knowing the places to deploy these F-NATT Dread Mine is critical when using Fenrir, for not only its ability to greatly reduce vision, but it also informs us if an enemy is in the area.
You will get five pieces of F-NATT mines each time you play a new round. Here are the tips on where to deploy them:

- Always stick one F-NATT mine above the site’s entry doors. Most of the time, it will stop the enemy from rushing into the site, which then gives you time and intel on the enemy team’s location.

- Sticking the mines beside stairs is also a deadly strategy for Fenrir. Walking up or down the stairs is already dangerous, even without traps. F-NATT will make sure to give attackers a hard time to get past the stairs.

- If you are playing as a roamer, you can deploy your gadgets around corners or pillars where the attackers usually walk into
- In maps such as Clubhouse, Outback, or Chalet, where you have to defend a site with a breakable surface to the outside of the map, stick one right above the breakable wall. If the mine triggers, it will help your teammate deny the enemy plant.
Make sure that you only activate the mines that have a high chance of triggering because you can only activate three mines at a time. Fenrir users also don’t need to worry about it breaking. F-NATT Mines are bulletproof as long as you are not activating them.

Best Fenrir weapon loadout
The Swedish scientist is loaded with MP7 SMG and SASG-12 shotgun as his primary weapon. While both guns are strong, MP7 would be your first choice. Whether you are playing as an anchor or a roamer, MP7 can be your best bet to get some kills because it has a high fire rate, which is an essential aspect in Rainbow Six Siege.

His secondary weapon is Bailiff 410, a small but handy gun for defending. Using this gun, make sure to help out by making rotation holes and peeking holes.
Fenrir is equipped with barbed wire or a bulletproof camera for the gadget. What you should use depends on the situation and map. If your team already has enough intel, then take the barbed wire. Deploy the wires on the stairs or in a hallway where it can make a horror-induced combo with your F-NATT mines.
In conclusion, Fenrir is a nightmare for the enemies. You can play as an anchor or a roamer, as long as you know where and when to deploy your F-NATT. But again, the first thing to do before you can dominate a match is to learn the map, as it’s the most crucial part of playing Rainbow Six Siege.
