Pokemon GO June 2022 Community Day takes place in two weeks
In the blog post from Niantic on the official Pokemon GO website, it is revealed that the event will happen on June 25 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm local time. Moreover, the Pokemon featured this Community Day is also revealed in the announcement.
According to Niantic, players have the chance to capture Deino the Irate Pokemon and add it to their collection. Players can also encounter a shiny Deino during the event period so be sure to participate in this event.

Featured Pokemon
As previously mentioned, Deino is the featured Pokemon for this event.
Featured Attack
Through the event, players who evolve Deino into Zweilous and then Hydreigon get a Pokemon with a special attack. To do this, players should fully evolve Deino into Hydreigon while the event is still active. In return, they get a Hyreidon that knows the Charged Attack Brutal Swing.
Event Bonuses
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
- 2× chance to receive Deino Candy XL from catching Deino
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!

Group Bonuses
- From 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm local time, players can participate in a unique Four-Star Raid with other players. If they complete the group raid, Deino will have a boosted drop rate around the Gym for a short period of time.
- After defeating Zweilous in the Four-Star Raid, Trainers can encounter Deino in the area surrounding the Gym for 30 minutes.
- To take part in these Raids, Trainers need to use Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes.
However, the Event and Group Bonuses are only active for the three-hour Community Day event period.
Featured Items
Trainers can also get even-themed stickers and a Deino Hat. To get the stickers, spin PokeStops, open Gifts, or purchase them directly from the in-game shop. And if you want to get the Deino Hat, this will be available through the in-game shop for 150 PokeCoins.
Community Day Special Research story: Field Notes: Deino
Finally, Trainers can access the Deino Community Day-exclusive Special Research Story. To do so, players need to buy a Special Research ticket through the in-game shop while the event is active. According to Niantic, Special Research tickets will be available for only US$1.00. Moreover, Trainers can gift these tickets to their friends to make sure they don’t miss out on the fun.
