Although Honor of Kings is a recently released MOBA, it keeps pacing up the release of new heroes. Honor of Kings released another new hero in 10 days named “Lady Zhen”. Lady Zhen is a mage character that excels at dealing damage from a distance, while also providing chain crowd control. Lady Zhen is a middle-lane hero and in this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know about this hero, from builds, skills, and her strengths or weaknesses.
Honor of Kings: New Hero Lady Zhen – Ability Breakdown
Passive Skill: Frozen Touch
Every time Lady Zhen deals damage she places a mark on her enemies. This mark stays on the enemies for 7s and at max stacks (3), it deals magic damage and freezes them for 1s.
Skill 1: Oceans of Tears
- Lady Zhen summons a water pillar at the designated location.
- This water pillar does damage to all the enemies in that location and the damage of this water pillar scales with her Magic power.
- Furthermore, this skill launches the characters into the air.
Tip: This ability can be used as a defensive or aggressive move. If you see an enemy out of position, make sure to knock them up and wait for your team to follow up. Alternatively, you can save this ability for an assassin or warrior jumping onto you.
Skill 2: Flowing Sigh
- Lady Zhen fires a stream of water that bounces off from targets dealing them magic damage.
- The stream of water can bounce up to 6 times with a maximum of 2 bounces per unit.
Tip: Use this ability followed by your skill1. This skill can help trigger your passive and gives you an easier aim for your Skill 1 to land.
Ultimate: Destructive Deluge
- Lady Zhen unleashes a water spirit in a specific direction, which slows down the movement speed of the first hero it hits causing magic damage.
- Upon hitting an enemy or reaching the maximum range this spirit turns into a pool for 5s, dealing consistent damage to enemies within it.
Tip: This ability is the major source of damage for Lady Zhen. In addition, since it is an area of effect ability you can hit multiple targets which makes this ability quite lethal. Therefore, use your skill 2, followed by skill 1, and finish them off with your ultimate to create a sequence of chain crowd control. Alternatively, you can even use your ultimate 1 followed by skill 1 and skill 2.
Common Skills:
- Lady Zhen is quite immobile with no dash abilities. Although she can use her crowd control to escape we still recommend using Flash as mages are quite squishy.

Strengths
- Lady Zhen is packed with high magic damage and if played correctly she poses a great threat to opponents.
- She has abilities that have an area of effect, so she can hit multiple targets at the same time.
- She has a good early-game lane clear and hence can rotate between lanes to help her allies.
- She is packed with crowd control abilities, that can be used for an escape or to catch enemies off guard.
Weakness
- Lady Zhen has directional abilities and needs to hit for her to deal damage, hence the placement of her skills will take time to master.
- She is quite immobile and hence she is a high-priority target for enemy assassins and warriors.
- Lady Zhen has low defensive stats so if you are caught off guard there is a high chance you might die.
