Alessio is a deft marksman with high burst damage and mobility. He is quite powerful and scales really well into the late game. In this hero guide, you will find everything you need to know about Honor of King’s new hero released, Alessio, and how to unlock him.

Alessio Ability Breakdown

Passive Skill: Rebellious Little Hawk

• Alessio’s basic attack fires shells that deal AoE damage based on the target’s max health. These shells can be blocked while Alessio is grounded.
• While Alessio is still, he enters into Cannoneer state and his basic attack intervals reduce by 25%.

While playing him you need to be very tactical about the use of his passive. While clearing the lanes early in-game we recommend the use of Cannoneer state. Alternatively, you should use his default state while in combat.

Skill 1: Upgraded Shell

• Using this ability will enhance Alessio’s next 3 basic attacks.
• These basic attacks will have a higher ranger and will do higher damage based on the target’s maximum health.

This ability comes in really handy in the laning phase. This helps you stay at a distance in the early game and harass the enemy.

Skill 2: Legendary Hero Debut 

• Alessio throws smoke bombs which grant stealth to allies within it, including himself.
• The bomb’s explosion makes him airborne which grants his increased movement speed.
• Alessio can ignore the terrain while being airborne and cross walls.
• While airborne you can use his basic attacks which help you stay airborne longer.

Understanding this ability is quite crucial as it can be used both in an aggressive and defensive way. In an aggressive way, you can use this ability to get to the back line and delete the squishy targets. Alternatively, in a defensive way, you can use this ability to stealth out of hard situations as well as help your allies in tough times.

Ultimate: Sunset Fireworks Show

• Alessio leaps into the air, locks onto a target, and fires 5 shells which deal a lot of damage.
• If the same target is hit by all 5 of the shells, it takes lesser damage.
• Only 1 enemy hero can share damage with the locked target.

This ability pairs so well with Alessio’s skill 2. You can use skill 2 to go airborne to the backline and use the ultimate to take the enemy mage or marksman out.

Common Skills:

• Alessio is quite mobile with his B and ultimate ability but since Marksmen are generally low HP we recommend using Flash.

Strengths

• Alessio is mobile with the use of his skill 2 and hence not as easy to gank.
• He has high burst damage and can take down the enemy backline easily.
• His abilities damage mostly scale with the target’s HP and hence can be a really good pick against duo warrior drafts.
• He has a strong laning phase which grants him the chance to scale into the late game really well.

Weakness

• Since his damage is mostly physical he can find himself in tough spots against heroes like Juniper.
• He is a farm-oriented ADC and hence takes time to make a difference in team fights.

How to unlock Alessio?

There are three ways to unlock Alessio, and one of them will help you get this hero for free. Don’t worry we got you covered. In this hero guide we will tell you how to get Alessio for free and here are the ways:

• Gold –  You can buy this new hero with the help of in-game gold and it would be around 13,333 gold.
• Vouchers  – You can unlock it by cashing in on in-game currency and getting it at a discounted rate of 388.
• For Free – You can unlock this character for free by completing the “Hero trial” and “Seasonal campaign” as shown in the image below. You can find these at the bottom right of your screen with Aleisso’s icon on it.
