Hogwarts Legacy Max level + Can you reset (respec)

Wizards learn and master magic and the power of spells. Hogwarts Legacy didn’t make any difference about that in the game. Not just magic and powerful spells though, your Hogwarts student can increase its stats and adapt to more skills too. As you progress, you may and can learn a lot of combat skills, and Talents, in this Harry Potter game’s term. So in Hogwarts Legacy, what are these Talents, and can you reset or respec these Talent Points in the game? Here’s one way to find out, read more below.

Can you respec Talent in Hogwarts Legacy?

Let’s first know about the Talents in Hogwarts Legacy. The talent system in the game can be unlocked in the early stages of playing. There should be five categories of Talents you may choose from. The Talents include Spells, Dark Arts, Core, Stealth, and Room of Requirement that each offering different and unique abilities. So what if you suddenly changed your mind about the Talent you chose?

  • Here goes the bad news, you cannot respec or reset the Talent Points in Hogwarts Legacy. Once you made up your mind and chose one among the five Talent categories, unfortunately, that’s where you’re stuck for the rest of your adventure.
  • There’s a rare option that you may at least try if you can. If you regularly save your progress, you may reload an old save that you have. Although, the progress you made before consuming the Talent Point would be restarted. Technically, the time you spent after the older saved progress can be somehow wasted. This option may not be the best but it should be the only option as of now.
  • Avalanche Software has not focused on this yet, hence, we don’t think a Respec option would come soon to Hogwarts Legacy. At this point, we could just highly suggest you think through your Talents choice and how you allocate your Talent Points in the game.

Talents and Talent Points

To easily explain the five categories, Spells increase the effect of normal magic spells, while Dark Arts increase the effect of dark magic spells and add dark magic two a few normal spells. Stealth, living up to its name, boosts stealth spells. Furthermore, Core holds the basics like healing, dodging, and combat, while Room for Requirement is in charge of potions and plants’ effects.

  • The max level players can reach in Hogwarts Legacy is at level 40. You can earn these Talents starting at level 5 and certainly, at each level, you get to receive one. If you’re planning to get every Talent available in a single play, we don’t think that’s possible.
  • In the game, a total of 48 Talents can be acquired. If the max level’s 40, and only 35 available Talent Points, nope, no can do. We may not be able to get all Talents, but the most important thing to focus on should be the best Talent category to choose.

Are you ready to learn more Talents as you progress in Hogwarts Legacy?
