God of War Ragnarok - Gameplay length with side quests - Cover

God of War: Ragnarok is filled with content for all players to enjoy. Aside from the lengthy main quests where you play as either Kratos or Atreus, the number of side quests is sure to keep every warrior busy. With the holiday season approaching, you may have some more time on your hands to see God of War: Ragnarok to completion. If you’re wondering what the game length is for God of War: Ragnarok, with the side quests included, you’ve come to the right place!

What is the game length for God of War: Ragnarok?

Before starting God of War: Ragnarok, you can choose how difficult your journey will be. If you choose ‘Give Me God of War’, you’ll probably spend more time taking down bosses like Heimdall. On the other hand, the ‘Give Me Story’ option allows you to focus less on combat and enjoy the beautifully-written story of God of War: Ragnarok.

When we played the game ourselves, it took us around 30 hours to complete the main story quests. This didn’t include the side quests yet, and on average, players need at least 20-25 more hours to complete these Favors.
