Archaic Stones can be found in The Chasm and most of them are located on cliffs. Used in the quest to complete “Says He Who Seeks Stone”, this article will guide you on where to find all Archaic Stones locations in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact: Archaic Stones
“Says He Who Seeks Stone” can only be unlocked once “Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend” is completed. Both are part Liyue quest which is located in The Chasm. The former needs Archaic Stones to be completed. Interacting with Muning at the entrance of The Chasm in Liyue will start the quest.
“Says He Who Seeks Stone”: Archaic Stones Location
There are 9 locations where you can find Archaic Stones. Let us go over them one by one.

#1 The Surface Waypoint Teleporter – Mining Site Path (West of Waypoint)
- You can find an Archaic Stone behind a rock after going thru the short tunnel network from the Surface Waypoint Teleporter. Then, follow the path and glide down before the broken bridge. It is behind the huge stone which you will see before jumping.

#2 The Surface Waypoint Teleporter – Climbing Path (North of Waypoint)
- Another archaic stone can be found north of the waypoint teleporter above the cliff on the ledge. Use the jump boosts to reach the cliff. Then you will find your second archaic stone in this area.
- There will be a total of 5 jump boosts to be used. The only confusing part is here is the jump boost near the stone embedded with gold (3rd jump boost). After that, use 2 more jump boosts, head left to the edge of the cliff, and you will see the Archaic Stone.

#3 The Surface Waypoint Teleporter – From Stone #2 (Southwest of Map)
- From Stone #2, head southwest of the map to the next landform. Within the landform, walk in a southwest direction in reference to the map and you should see the 3rd Archaic Stone.

#4 Statue of the Seven (Northwest of The Chasm’s Maw Waypoint Teleporter)
- From the statue, head west of the map to a jump boost. Then, go in the south direction and descend on the lower landform. After, head straight, and your 4th Archaic stone is guarded by monsters.

#5 Statue of the Seven – From Stone #4 (East of Map)
- You will find the 5th Archaic Stone by jumping down from the 4th stone. Then, glide down east to the unpassable broken bridge. The Archaic Stone should be in front of the gray stone with gold emblems.

#6 Statue of the Seven – From Stone #5 (Southwest of Tiangong Gorge)
- After getting your 5th Archaic stone, take the same jump boost located west of the statue. But, instead of taking the lower landform, you need to take the upper landform for the 6th Archaic Stone.
- Then, head south of the map but follow the hill path. You will be gliding down to a mining spot in proximity to a Hilichurl camp.

#7 Tiangong Gorge – From Stone #6 (Head to East towards Glaze Peak)
- Once the 6th Archaic Stone is obtained, head east towards Glaze Peak. Then, there will be a chest with great rewards. Make sure to get it.
- The 7th Archaic Stone is surrounded by exploding bombs. Make sure to bait and dodge them.
- #8 Glaze Peak – From Stone #7 (North of Map From #7)
- From the 7th Archaic Stone, go north. Then, the 8th Archaic Stone is just above the entrance of The Chasm.
- #9 Tiangong Gorge Waypoint Teleporter (East of Waypoint)
- For the 9th archaic stone, it is located east of the waypoint teleporter.
- First, you need to climb a rock. After, take 1 jump boost west of the initial climb. Then, head west again and you will see the 9th Archaic stone in between small rocks.
You can now turn over the Archaic Stones to Muning and complete the quest. The rewards for the Quest will be 150x Adventure Exp, 20, Liyue Reputation Exp, 30,000 Mora, and 20 Primo gems. Completing the quest will also unlock Hidden Exploration Objection and Muning’s Questline.
