In participating in part 3 of the Labyrinth Warrior in Genshin Impact, players can acquire a companion for themselves, the Shiki Koshou. This companion is a replica of the paper doll of the same name, but with glasses. This adorable companion has become an item of interest for many players for its appearance, though it does not provide any perks during battle.
“A gift from Shiki Taishou: a replica armed with spiritual power. Though Shiki Koshou is incapable of charm magic, it is in contact with Shiki Taishou at all times and can share all that it has seen and heard with him, so it’s almost like you’ve still got Shiki Taishou with you on your journey.”
Acquiring this pet is easy. Travelers will have to complete the 3rd part of the Labyrinth Warriors, which is the “Away with Obsessions and Falsehood!” quest. Along with the Shiki Koshou, Travelers will also receive the Hero’s Wit, Mora, and Primogens when they complete this mission.
- In order to start the quest, players will have to set the in-game time to 8 AM the next day, and then meet Xinyan at the front of the domain
- On each floor, Travelers will face a boss and will have to defeat them.
- The first floor will pit the Traveler against Abyss Herald, Electro Abyss, and Hydra Samachurl. It is recommended to include a Cryo character on this floor.
The Traveler will face Abyss Lector on the second floor, with Attendants Hydro Samachurl, Hydro Abyss Mage, and two Hilichurl Shooters. It is recommended to have at least one Pyro character to battle to have an advantage over Abyss Lector’s Electro shield.
Following this, Travelers can progress to the last room, where a cut scene will play. At the end of this, the Shiki Koshou will be automatically added to the inventory, where payers can equip it.

The companion will float over the Traveler’s shoulder and be always present. The Shiki also has its own animated moves, in addition to making a good companion.
